San Jose, CA

This Shipping Policy applies to all purchases of ATI products through our website, direct sales channels, quotations, order acknowledgments, invoices, and related communications. This policy is incorporated into ATI’s Terms of Sale.

Effective Date: April 2026

1. Shipping Origin

ATI ships all orders from San Jose, California, USA, unless otherwise stated in writing.

2. Order Processing Time

Orders are typically processed within 1 to 3 business days after payment is received and verified, unless otherwise stated in writing or unless the product is backordered, made to order, customized, or subject to a longer lead time. Business days do not include weekends or public holidays.

Processing time refers to the time required to review, prepare, pack, and release an order for shipment. Processing time does not include carrier transit time.

Orders requiring international export documentation or subject to export control compliance review may require additional processing time beyond the standard 1 to 3 business day window.

3. Shipping Carriers, Methods, and Costs

ATI typically uses UPS for domestic and international shipments. ATI may also use FedEx, USPS, DHL, freight carriers, or other logistics providers depending on the destination, package size, shipment value, customer preference, and service availability. Unless a specific shipping method has been agreed to in writing, ATI reserves the right to select the carrier, service level, and routing method at its discretion.

Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight, dimensions, destination, and selected service level. Costs are presented at checkout or included in a formal quotation or invoice. For eligible orders, Customers may request to bill shipping charges directly to their own carrier account (Freight Collect), subject to ATI’s prior written approval.

4. Domestic Shipping Within the United States

Domestic shipping transit times vary by destination and carrier service selected. Standard ground shipments within the contiguous United States typically arrive within 1 to 5 business days. Shipments to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and other non-contiguous destinations may require additional transit time.

Expedited and overnight services may be available upon request at additional cost. All delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed unless ATI expressly confirms a guaranteed service in writing.

5. International Shipping

ATI ships to many international destinations. International transit times vary depending on the destination country, customs clearance, local delivery conditions, carrier service selected, and other factors beyond ATI’s control.

Express international shipments commonly arrive within approximately 1 to 5 business days. Economy international services may take longer depending on the destination and service selected. International delivery estimates are provided for convenience only and are not guaranteed.

6. Customs, Duties, Taxes, and Import Charges

Unless ATI expressly agrees otherwise in writing, all import duties, tariffs, customs clearance fees, brokerage fees, VAT, GST, local taxes, and similar charges are the sole responsibility of the Customer or consignee.

ATI is not responsible for customs delays, customs holds, import licensing issues, destination-country regulations, or additional charges imposed by customs authorities, carriers, or brokers.

If a shipment is held, delayed, returned, or destroyed due to the Customer’s failure to provide required import documentation, permits, tax payments, or customs information, the Customer remains responsible for all resulting costs and liabilities.

7. Shipping Addresses and Freight Forwarders

Customer is responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address, contact name, phone number, and any other delivery information required for successful shipment. ATI is not responsible for delays, non-delivery, additional shipping charges, or returned shipments caused by incorrect, incomplete, outdated, or undeliverable address information provided by the Customer. If ATI incurs additional charges due to address correction, reconsignment, re-delivery, storage, or return shipping, such charges may be billed to the Customer.

If Customer chooses to use a third-party freight forwarder, ATI’s delivery obligation and risk of loss pass to Customer upon delivery to the forwarder’s U.S. facility. ATI is not responsible for any damage, loss, delay, or customs issues that occur after the shipment has been received by the freight forwarder, including during consolidation, repackaging, or onward transportation.

8. Delivery Delays

Any shipping or delivery dates provided by ATI are estimates only. ATI is not liable for delays caused by carriers, weather, natural disasters, customs clearance, labor disruptions, supply chain issues, government actions, security inspections, inaccurate delivery information, force majeure events, or other circumstances beyond ATI’s reasonable control.

Carrier delays do not entitle the Customer to cancel an order, refuse delivery, or recover shipping charges from ATI unless ATI expressly agrees otherwise in writing.

9. Tracking Information

When tracking is available, ATI will generally provide shipment tracking information after the order has been shipped. Tracking updates are generated by the carrier, not by ATI. ATI is not responsible for delays, errors, or interruptions in carrier tracking systems.

10. Partial Shipments

ATI reserves the right to make partial shipments when reasonably necessary, including where part of an order is available for immediate shipment and another part is delayed, backordered, or made to order. ATI will endeavor to notify the Customer in advance of any partial shipment arrangement.

11. Refused, Undeliverable, or Returned Shipments

If a shipment is refused by the Customer or consignee, or if a shipment is returned as undeliverable due to incorrect address information, failure to pay duties or taxes, failure to clear customs, or failure to accept delivery, the Customer remains responsible for the original shipping charges, any return shipping charges, any storage fees, brokerage fees, customs charges, duties, taxes, or disposal fees, and any additional handling or re-shipment costs.

Any refund, if approved, will be subject to ATI’s Return & Refund Policy and may be reduced by all applicable shipping, handling, return, and restocking charges.

12. Lost or Damaged Shipments

If a shipment arrives visibly damaged, or if items appear to be missing, Customer must notify ATI in writing within five (5) business days of delivery. Failure to report visible damage or shortage within this timeframe may result in the denial of a carrier claim and may limit ATI’s ability to assist with recovery.

Customer must retain the original shipping carton, internal packaging, labels, and all contents, as the carrier may require inspection in connection with any claim. ATI may assist in submitting or supporting a carrier claim where appropriate, but ATI is not responsible for carrier-caused loss or damage beyond the remedies available under applicable carrier policies, shipping insurance, or ATI’s own written obligations.

13. High-Value or Special Shipments

For high-value, oversized, fragile, export-controlled, or specially configured products, ATI may require additional processing time, special packaging, signature confirmation, insurance, freight service, or other shipping arrangements. Additional charges may apply for such shipments.
